Review: Fluffy Meets the Dinosaurs

1681328
When Fluffy the guinea pig learns that the class is visiting a dinosaur museum, he sneaks into Wade's lunch bag and joins the fun.

We picked this book up from our public library.

My son is a big fan of dinosaurs so when he saw this book he had to check it out so I could read it to him.

Fluffy's class gets to go the Natural History Museum and Fluffy ends up going! While at the museum he learns about some of the prehistoric animals and finds out he is a distant relative. You get some humor as to what a giant guinea pig may have looked like years and years ago. Especially with Fluffy letting you know his thoughts on the animals.

My son found it funny at the picture of a furry T-Rex. Especially when it looked like a guinea pig. Great read for all ages!

About the Author:

Kate McMullan is the author of many books for young readers, including I Stink!, winner of a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor; I'm Mighty; and Meg's Prairie Diary, a historical fiction trilogy set in St. Louis and Kansas in 1856. That ancestor was sixteen-year-old George Shannon. Ms. McMullan lives in New York City and Sag Harbor, New York, with her husband and collaborator, noted illustrator Jim McMullan, their daughter, two cats, and a dog.
