Review: Meet the X-Men by Clare Hibbert

1194895
Featuring some of the most popular characters from the X-Men universe, these readers take youngsters on an action-packed tour of the world of mutant heroes. Full color.

We picked this book up from the public library.

This is a great level 2 reading book for those that can read or even for those that are still learning to read. In this story we get to meet the different kind of X-men that have been created. Honestly I didn't know some of these characters so I thought it was impressive that there were "new" ones that we do not see on the movies or on the cartoon shows.
K enjoyed seeing the different X-men and said he hoped to one day have metal come out of his hands like Wolverine.
I think my favorite character was Storm, and I loved the description of what she did in Kenya to help the farmers.
This is book of facts of the X-men so please don't expect a story or anything.
