757886
The author of the best-selling Grumpy Bunny series and the illustrator of the favorite Chocolatina and Junie B. Jones books team up to bring kids this funny tale about friendship.

This was the perfect read for St. Patrick's Day. The Luckiest Leprechaun is pretty grumpy he makes shoes for fairies in the park and if you get to close to his gold he will hit you with his hammer. One day when MacKenzie O'Shamrock also known as Mac wakes up to someone or something digging into his home he sees it is a dog named Lucky. Of course Mac doesn't like anyone to be around him but Lucky won't go away no matter what. In the end a human who believes in leprechaun's comes sniffing around and Lucky ends up chasing the person away. Now Mac of course wakes up and finds his gold is missing along with Lucky and he thinks that dog who was his only friend ran off with the gold. And of course Mac is furious but unknown to him Lucky didn't just take the gold he did it for a reason. And once Mac finds out why he realizes that Lucky is a good friend to have around and a loyal friend is worth more than gold. A great story about friendship, K thought the book was good and he liked the leprechaun.
